FAMILY OUTREACH

Family members are profoundly affected when a loved one becomes addicted to substances In fact , by the time most families reach out for help and treatment, the disease of addiction has typically progressed to a crisis stage for the addict and family. Our programs and services are designed to help not only the addicts but the entire family-from spouses to parents or significant others to siblings ,because everyone affected by alcohol or other drug abuse needs support, care and healing.

Family Program incorporates a combination of lectures, educational videos, discussions, meditations, peer feedback and support. The day features a focus on developing coping skills as well as time for a Q&A with Family Program counsellors. Participants receive resources and handouts for discussions and ongoing reference.
